Went to a warehouse booksale two days ago. And I bought a whole stack of books, at an incredibly cheap rate! Having went to a book warehouse sale last year, I was so hyper when I received an email telling me about this :D Both me and my sister, Anne, are avid readers, so when I told her about it, we immediately begged asked our dad to bring us over to the place. ;)
Anyway, when we’re there, the smell of new books was so overpowering that I was grinning all the way as I stepped out of the elevator and into the room. There were stacks and stacks of books all over the place. I was momentarily rooted to my spot before I went, “Yosh, here we go!” and started grabbing books.
In the end, after approximately two hours searching, I gotten my hands on the complete set of Anthony Horowitz’s Alex Rider series (at RM48! Buying one book at Borders would’ve set me back RM39 already!) AND his other series The Power of Five (this one at RM32 for four books )
Gotten myself a couple of those dark genre books (Anne said Maou influenced me. I can say it’s true XD) and a few of those fluffy ones that I love to read :D
Ah and the Jeffrey Archer book was RM8! I’m still appalled by that, considering that fact that it was a hardcover version O.O
Too bad exams had to get in the way… I’ve to wait till the end of May to read these… X.X
