It was sooo nice to see my schoolmates again!
Everyone seems to have changed a lot! We had to wear formalwear, so most of them looked much like Office Ladies XD Some of them had highlights, new piercings, make up on… and I’m like, whoah. Such a change from the natural look and uniform in school!

I came early to school that day (LOL, such a change, right? XD) and there was no one that I was close to at that time. So I sat in my seat, feeling awkward in my blue baju kurung (Sorry, but I am most comfortable in my cargo pants and Tshirt usually.)
Later on, Mun came. It’s so nice to see her again! We had a highfive and a, “Gosh, I miss you guys soooo much!” moment; she hasn’t changed a BIT! Her bounciness was still there, and she still emitted that Mun-aura on her xD She was wearing cargo and striped shirt– I wouldn’t know HOW I would react if she came in a skirt like the others! :O We chatted for a bit, and soon the others came about– Jun, Veno, Teela. Speaking of Jun and Teela! The three of us sat together, in a row, and it was like we’re back in SC1 again! Nyaa~
There was a lot of talk about college and stuff. Teela is waiting for Matrix just as I am. Mun got third batch in NS, just like me. (She deferred, like I will do xD) JunJun told us a story about slippers and KTM, while Mun told us about fuzzy strawberry slippers. College sounds so fun btw! XD
The ceremony soon started, with the usual speeches from the PIBG human, Ms Goh, and the guest speaker. Pssh, I’ve attended enough of these ceremonies back in Form 3 and Form 4, I know the drill already! Haha.
Honestly, I didn’t hear what the PIBG human was saying (Also, I didn’t catch his name– but he was a substitute for Dato Stanley Issacs.) Instead of his droning voice, I had… scenes from Ohoku playing in my head. I had to clamp my hand to my mouth to stop myself from giggling out loud xD The things that Nino make me think! At the worst of timings! Lol!
Ms Goh’s speech was the usual analysis and presentation of the previous year’s SPM and PMR results. Nino stopped coming into my head at this time, sadly, so I just stared into space. Then the guest speaker started her speech. She’s an Old Girl (a term describing ex-St Marians from the KL branch school) and she talked about her time in school, her work and stuff.
We had performances after the first prize giving session. The school choir and this retro dance led by none other than Pn Rosmah. Fir was in it, and most of the people around me commented that she was amazing on stage! I just HAD to agree :D
Then, a second round of prize giving session (I took my certificate and my RM60! Hehe) and after that, more performances. This time 4Sc3′s (Anne’s class whoot!) choral speaking.
Sue Yin spoke next. And I was awestruck by her. She spoke so clearly, so fluently and so full of confidence. Though I didn’t hear what she said. A certain someone –I won’t mention names– kept on talking and complaining about Sue Yin’s Chinese-like pronounciation. D: I wish I told her to shut up. Sue Yin was great on stage *cue proud mom like face xD* Even though I’m not awfully close to her, but seeing her like that made me smile :)
Picture session next! I’m guessing it’ll be in the school mag this year :D I hope I Don’t look too weird! Coz I hate formally posing for photos XD
Oh, met with all my jrs that day too! Like Loi (who called me Afiqa-senpai! Hehehe I love that title LOL!), Afi, Ka Vei and Tasha. I didn’t get to chat with them lots though. Haih~ too much going on. And kaachan was calling me to the canteen anyways.
I met with teachers in the canteen (: Like Mr Chew, whom I’ve been wanting to meet ever since before SPM started. I remember going to the Teacher’s room with Twinnie-Farah to say sorry for being so inattentive in his class, but he was busy, so we can’t. Ditto on SPM results day.
Anyways! Meeting him in the canteen gave me such a relief (No grudges fom him! xD!) He asked me about my results and stuff, and we had a nice chat for a bit. I thanked him for teaching me Physics, really and honestly. Met with Pn Johana too and same goes to her. After meeting them… well, you know that nice fuzzy feeling you have after doing something good? Yeah, I had that feeling. (Yeah, yeah, yeah, Fiqa’s being sappy LOL)
I saw Pn Grace, but she was bombarded woth students (Yeah. Popular teacher there), so I didn’t approach her. Went back to the clinic after that (: Had a nice time, honestly :D

You guys can skip this first part– I only write it for a self-satisfaction XD Scrooooooll down for my thoughts on the movie, till you find bolded orange text XD Because Yellow is a crappy colour to be put against a white background
SO! Let’s start with this morning! Woke up the Mini-Mini, Dila, for school and after a quick nap, I started doing housework. Since kaachan let me go out for a trip on a weekday, I thought I’ll give her the joys of having a clean house. In layman’s terms, it is known as brown-nosing XD
And today, everything went smoothly. My chores (*coughiddenagenda*) were done in a mere few hours, instead of the usual three hours. Mini-Mini was cooperative enough to go to school without much of a fuss, as well as she didn’t make as much mess as usual.
By 3, I had already started feeling jittery with anticipation– spamming my Twitter in the process XD And at exactly 4:40, Kaachan came home to fetch me (Thank you, bonda, for taking the time from work to send your daughter off to watch her affair kill aliens on the big screen. *chu*) and sent me to Kepong KTM station.
The KTM has an amazing reputation of being slow and late and generally untrustworthy, so as I waited for it to come, my heart was doing a tribal drum beat, thinking that I was going to be late. |D But Tashii sent me a text with mumbo jumbo, and what do you know! The train came not five minutes after that! Arashian-to-Arashian-mumbo-jumbo has its qualities~ XD
So! I went off to Coffee Bean to meet up with Tashii first. She was already giggly and hyper over caffeine rush (Two mugs of joe. TWO! D8) and we chatted while waiting for Meena, aka Riida to come. By 6:50, we headed off to GSC, with the caffiene already starting to work its way into my system.
Riida was slightly late– she got caught in the rush hour, so the both of us were in front of GSC, tortured and tormented with the high of caffeine XD The movie was supposed to start at 7:10, and by 7:22, and no sight of Riida, we got even more jittery! D8
BUT! When Riida finally came at 7:30, and when we rushed into the hall, the movie was just about to start! Awesome timing or what!? XD
SO!
Here starts the craziness!
As soon as Nino’s voice appeared– NINO’S VOICE, NOT HIM YET– Tashii and I started giggling. Meena was seated one seat away from me, so I have no idea how she reacted |D We tried to muffle our giggles, but it was futile! NINO’S HOT AWESOME SELF PROJECTED ON THE BIG SCREEN! How can we NOT giggle?! XD
I spent the whole 2 hours in the hall with my hands clasped over my mouth, or my body jerking and cringing at the aliens’ attacks, or squeezing Tashii’s arm beside me! XD Oh god, the way my body reacts to Neen is… indescribable XD
What do I think of the movie?
I’ve calmed myself down a bit, so I hope I won’t be TOO biased XD
Since I’ve read the manga, I anticipated for it to be just as climatic and suspenseful as it. I have to say, it wasn’t as good as the manga. In the movie, Kurono is a university student (as opposed to a perverted, hormone-driven high school student in the manga LOL) so quite a few parts were changed. Not too much as to make it completely different from the manga, but I just needed to state that.
I found myself not so satisfied over the first half of the movie– the director cut a lot of the climatic and suspenseful parts. One of it was the short battle between the players and Onion Alien. In the manga, it was shown that Kurono was running away from the Onion-papa with it chasing him with his sharp claws and gruesome face, adding suspense into every page. In the movie, however, the battle was cut short, and it ended maybe in 10 minutes? |D
The feeling of infatuation between Kishimoto and Kato wasn’t portrayed well enough, in my opinion. I really didn’t feel like Kishimoto was attracted to Kato as much as the manga, and it seemed… rushed. I couldn’t really feel like Kurono was attracted that much to Kishimoto either. :/ If Gantz didn’t analyse Kurono’s performance as, “Stop staring at Kishimoto,” there would be no hint at all that he liked her. :| That was a bit of a lowdown, I think, for some people who don’t read the manga.
BUT! The movie regained itself in the second half. More of the second half were original script, instead of taking it from the manga. And this was a refreshing breather for me– I didn’t really have to compare it to the manga much :D
Yoshitaka Yuriko (Oh god, I LOOOOOVE HER! She’s way too adorable!) plays as Kojima Tae in this. Her character is WAAAAY different from the manga, so I naturally assumed that she was an original character– But I just checked, and Wiki told me otherwise. Oh well, it fitted well with the second half of the story, and maybe this kind of character is crucial for Part Two~? :D
Kato’s backstory in this was well portrayed (Yay, MatsuKen!) and I could feel that he really loved his little brother, Ayumu. Spoiler, so highlight if you want to read, but when Kato died towards the end of the movie, I felt SO SAD for his brother T^T Guh. I SO wanted to scream when it happened, but of course, my screams were muffled.
Ah! And the with the aliens in the second half of the movie– the two giant statues and 1000 armed Buddha (yes, armed, like with swords! 8D) was really well done! The fight with the two giants could have been a little longer though XD But! The fight with the Buddha statue inside the museum was just jaw-dropping… or squeak-inducing! I found my feet propped up on the seat, covering my self from the awesoooome CGs or grabbing on to Tashii’s arm squeaking together! XD I wished I could reach out and grabbed Riida too! XDD
The CGs in this was purely amazing! And I could not spot a moment where I could say, “Hey, that’s CGI!” like I usually do in movies. XD And the fact that most of the aliens died by exploding into gooey alien-blood made me go *______* The props– X-gun, Y-gun, and a sword Kato used was just so similar to the ones in the manga, so MAJOR PROPS for that (LOL, unintended pun) The BGM did its job well; it added more depths to the scenes, like that part when Nino was snivelling as he cried for Kato when he was announced dead. Oh gosh, T^T *squishes Neen*
LASTLY! THE CLIFFHANGER AT THE END OF THE MOVIE = fhakfhakslfhaklhfalkh!! It really hit the spot! Ending it with an image of Kato, unhurt and still alive!! OMG LIKE WHAT THE HELL IS GOING TO HAPPEN!!?! skjhaskfhakfhkahf *cough* Perfect Answer is coming out in SEPTEMBER! And all of us Malaysians have to tahan until then! D8 *dies*
Conclusion: I’ll give the movie an overall rating of 7.75/10 :D (Yes, I love decimals, so what. XD) Not flawlessly perfect, not godawful-terrible :D It could do more justice for the manga, but the original script really regained itself. Some parts that really made me laugh, made my heart sink T^T, made me smile, made me snigger. There were moments when I could just SQUEEE– Tae/Kurono fluff, and Nino/MatsuKen bromance!! XD!!

>A/N: I was feeling the ups and downs the other day, and that led me to feeling dark-ish. And that led me to writing this :3 I haven’t written anything in SO LONG, so the flow is a bit sporadic, not to mention jumpy. But I guess I needed an outlet. Heh, I felt so much better after writing this XD

He opened his eyes.
And saw white.
He sat up, groggy, confused and lost, blinking his senses back. For a moment, he thought he lost the ability to see colours. Everywhere he looked was white– blindingly, stark pure white. From the low ceilings to the cold, tiled floor to his own clothes– everything was white. It was a shock to his brain when he saw his own skin colour against the white hue. He felt exposed to the place, feeling like he was standing naked in a middle of a field.
He opened his mouth to yell, but no voice came. His eyes grew large, as he clasped his hands over his mouth. His voice…! Gone! His eyes searched the cramped room for any clues.. any help… anything that can explain this to him. As his eyes looked around, he felt as if the walls were closing in on him, squeezing the very life out of him. He felt claustrophobic, cramped and confined. In the room was a mattress, and two doors. Both were white.
Out, his mind screamed to him, fierce. You need to get out. NOW! He tried to get up, but there was no power his his knees. It felt as if all of his lower part of his body was made out of gelatin. His mind panicked at his inability to walk. Was he paralyzed waist down? Did he get caught in an accident? Where was he?! He wanted to scream, to shout, to yell for help!
He hit the floor in frustration.
A resounding thud bounced off the walls.
He continued to hit it, hoping, praying, wanting, needing, someone to hear him and let him escape from this white solitary world. He slapped his palms onto the cold floor until his palms shone red, he thumped it until his fist ached, he rapped it until his knuckled bleed.
The red blood was a stark contrast with the white.
He stopped and watched the blood as it trickled down his knuckles and dripped silently onto the floor. He touched it, letting blood smear over his right hand, then running his hands over the floor, letting it spread. He needed to put an end to this infinite whiteness.
A sharp sound was heard from outside the door– footsteps, staccato against the floor. And it was getting louder. Another person! His body snapped up and his view panned in onto the door on his left, hoping that the person behind it would swing open the door and put an end to this madness. His heartbeat accelerated, increased, thump… thump… thump, thump, thump, thumpthumpthump, as the footsteps got louder and louder.
He steadied himself with one hand, and he leant his body forwards, towards the door, as if he was going to bolt from the room as soon as it opened.
The footsteps went tap… tap… tap… tap, tap, tap, taptaptaptaptap–
Silence.
The sharp taps stopped just as abruptly as it had started. His heart lurched. His hopes crushed. His body weak. The person was gone…? Was he going to be stuck here forever, with his voice permanently gone, and his legs paralyzed? He cannot! He cannot stay here! He needed to–
The door swung open.
His eyes opened wide and he released that breath he was unconsciously holding. At the entrance, stood a small woman, her grey eyes were hidden behind a pair of white rimmed glasses. She was wearing a white trench coat. Even her face was white– pale like ivory, as if she had never seen the sun for her entire lifetime. But what attracted him most was her hair. It was as black as night, flowing over her petite shoulders, like a waterfall. Amongst all the bright white hue, and just like his blood, she was glowing.
He sat there, transfixed, over her appearance. His eyes scanning her whole being, and stopping to stare at her hair. He couldn’t say that she was particularly gorgeous, but her essence itself was alluring. Her grey eyes shone for a moment as she laid her eyes on him.
She stepped into the tiny room, her white high heels making that tap tap tap-ing sound as it kissed the floor. She stopped right in front of him and kneeled down. She held her hand up and stroked his face with her ice cold fingers. “You’re beautiful.” He shivered as her voice purred into his ear, “Perfect.”
She ran her index finger down his jawline and over his neck. His eyes were wide, this time with incomprehension. “Confused?” she asked, her lidded eyes fixed onto his. “Don’t worry, it will all be over soon…”
Underneath that coat, she produced a small vial, filled with colourless liquid. Her smile looks more or a sneer than anything else, and yet he was still transfixed over her being and could not pull his eyes away. She ran her fingers from his upper arms all the way down to his hand. She clasped his hand, shooting a sudden chill through his nerves, and gently placed the vial into his hands.
“Drink it,” she murmured, and without knowing why, he did.
The white world turned pitch black after that.

A PosExpress package.
There was no escape! I SCREEEEEAMED WITH EXCITEMENT! 8DDD Hugging the package close, I ran up to my room, shut the door and locked it. Then I calmly and carefully opened the package and let my hands run over the two new items for me collection ~ <3
First thing I did was hold the uchiwa in my hands, thinking, “This is MINE. 8D” Pssh, it’s a first timer thing, leave me be! XDD
And I gently took the photobook in my hands next. When I opened it….

Omg, my first outing on a weekday since December! Ha! So, anyway, I’m gonna skip all the rambly boring stuff like the fact that my dad got us lost for 15 mins while trying out a new shortcut, or the fact that I was late (again), or the fact that Tashii went O.o at my BRIGHT GREEN AND YELLOW OUTFIT when she saw me at KLSentral XD
*cough* None of that, so I’ll skip to KLCC straight. 8D Upon reaching, I gave her a tee shirt we bought in Port Dickson last year, and changed into it! Yeah, two giggly people in matching bright powerhouse Nino YELLOW-coloured tees!
Then we headed off to Kinokuniya, with one target in mind: GANTZ Visual Book. After a quick discussion, and because the Nino-force in us is strong, we finally decided to share money and buy it!

We decided to grab some food to eat at the Food Court because I hadn’t had anything to eat since last night. Also, we needed a flail-spot. XD And that, was just exactly what we did! We sat in the Food Court for hours, chatting on mindlessly about anything and everything under the sun :D
Much later, after a refreshing drink from Juice Works, we headed off to the LRT. Again, we were blabbing non-stop XD Hey, when you put two fangirls together, LOUDNESS ensures! 8D Oh, yeah, on a side note, I bluetooth’d Tashii some songs, and each time a song was completely transferred, her phones goes in that sultry sexy Sho voice, “Sweet dreams, baby.” And both of us, as a habit, would always, always repeat that line.
Now imagine two people in a somewhat crowded train, suddenly and out of nowhere went, “Sweet dreams baby~!” XDDD Kikikiki
In the train, Tashii and I talked mostly about fanfics; her still on going Mercurial Dreams, and a Papa!Kazu fic I requested. I AM EGGSAYTED FOR EET XDDDD

Went off to Giant after my outing! :D Tou-chan finally decided to get me new shoes, since my MatsuJun-coloured sneakers hurt my feet.
Guess what colour I got~?
AIBA COLOURED SNEAKERS!
The best thing was, the shop arranged Arashi coloured sneakers ALL IN A LINE. You have NO idea how hard it was to pick one pair from the massive pile of colourful rainbow shoes! xD In the end, it was a close battle between Nino colours and Aiba colours.
Aiba won!
Two reasons:
1) Aiba x any Arashi member makes me squee! So I can just change the shoelaces according to my member-ai mood that day XD
2) I have enough Nino for that day, thank you very much. I love my Arashi boys equally. /partial lie./
And because I had some extra money left in me, I bought the Ohmiya slippers. Why? BECAUSE THEY’RE OHMIYA COLOURED, DAMMIT 8D ‘NUFF SAID.

The quake and tsunami in Japan brought out the best in so many people. So many people have helped and donated to it, and every single happy news brings a smile to my face– even Bieber’s 1mil donation and Lady Gaga’s 5mil donation– made me smile.
But this; THIS touched me so much, I can’t sleep now.
Arashians from AROUND THE WORLD are joining hands to help out with the disaster. The mods in arashi_on put up a fund raiser/garage sale, with all proceeds going to Red Cross to help out the people there.
The thing is, it seems like everyone is pitching in. People are buying/selling/auctioning stuff for the garage sale. People are giving out their skills– translating, icon-making, wallies etc– if people are donating. The fansubbing communities are working together to put out some newly subbed vids with each USD500 mark in the funds. Even the disbanded sora_takaku is coming back specially for this!
You tell me how can I read that and not feel my heart soar into the sky?
From what I see, everyone really, truly cares!
This feeling of melted happiness is rushing through me now, giving me this warm fuzziness in me :’)
